As an ACE Certified Behaviour Change Specialist, I am equipped to help clients achieve meaningful and lasting lifestyle changes. My clients are experts on their own lives; I just help them discover their strengths and increase internal motivation required to influence positive change. Coaching sessions focus on the possibilities of the future, rather than reflecting on deficits of the past.
My transformation programs include behaviour change coaching for health purposes through physical exercise and making nutritional changes to prevent and manage disease. Together, we'll create a plan based on the client's current situation, taking small steps, and re-evaluating on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Behaviour Change Coaching is not equivalent to psychotherapy or counselling. I am not a Nutritionist or Registered Dietician. I do not force workout programs on my clients or tell them what to eat. I work together with my clients to explore the best alternatives for them. I am not here to give advice unless requested and will always ask permission before sharing my personal experiences. When necessary, I help clients access professional resources outside of my scope of practice.
Individuals who would like to make a change in their lives, or have been ordered to make health changes by a Registered Physician can benefit from Behaviour Change Coaching.
